Rules

Select the type of poker you would like to learn the rules for.

Texas Holdem

Texas Holdem borrows elements from many different types of poker games, making it a fun and strategic poker game to play. The rules involve playing your face down cards against community cards, and pits player against player all along the way.

7 Card Stud

7 Card Stud is a fairly simple game as far as rules go. Cards are dealt to each player, and they don't have to worry about community cards or too many special extra rules. Check here for the full walkthrough.

Omaha High

Omaha High is played just like its brother, Texas Holdem, but instead each player is dealt four cards face down. This one change, along with the special rules that come with it, make Omaha High a very unique game, even when compared to Texas Holdem.

Omaha 8 or Better

Omaha 8 or better takes Omaha High and once again adds a new element to the rules. With special rules that allow people to play bad hands as strongly as good ones, this game requires quite a bit of practice for the beginning player to master.

Paigow Poker

Paigow Poker is a unique game that forces the player to choose bets and hands smartly, but manages to keep the rules simple. Players play against the dealer, and a few special limitations and additions, such as a joker card, make this game interesting and fun to play.

Carribean Poker

Carribean poker is also a unique form of poker, where the player must use strategic logic to make the decision to bet or fold against the dealers hand. The rules are fairly simple, but also very unique when compared with other poker games.
