Poker Ledger Review

Apr 29, 06:20 PM

The poker software that was reviewed in this session is different then any other programs that I have seen in the past. Instead of being an actual software based application which includes some sort of odds or advice teaching aid, this program is essentially a poker blog. The program main focus is to allow players to log their earnings, losses, time spent playing, and notes in order to help the player learn from their past experience. Since this program is unlike the others, this review will also be slightly different, but I am sure that you will still find it as informative as all the others.

Poker Ledger is a website in which a player can create an account free of charge and then log their information. There is no cost to the program so try it since you really have nothing to lose. The website is very easy to use, and detail features of the program are clearly listed on the front page. There is even a leader board on the site that shows the top 6 players in three different categories. The site walks you through the process of signing up, and immediately posts updates when they come out. There is also a forum on the site so you can discuss any problems you may have, or just talk about the great game of poker. In addition to that, there is the option of contacting the owners incase of any technical difficulties or suggestions that you may have.

Signing up for this blog is very simple, fast, and best of all free. All you need is an email, name, username, and password, and then of course a working computer. You are also given the option of making your account private or public, which I found to be nice for those players who are shy or hesitant about exposing their poker plays with the world. After you have completed the registration, you are ready to start recording your earnings.

Although the interface for plugging in your stats is very simple, its does the job and then some. There was no need for fancy design or obnoxious cluttering features, and I felt that this site did a great job of providing the player with everything that you would need. When you go to plug in your earnings or losses for the day, all you do is go to control panel on the website, sign in, and then you’re ready to analyze. The site automatically sets you up on the correct date of the day; however, if you forgot to enter past days you are able to select previous dates. You can select how much you lost or won, how much time you spent playing, and then add any comments you may have. The program then creates a chart for you based on your earnings, and you even receive a calculation of your earnings per hour rate.

I found all of the features in this program to be beneficial to anyone’s game, no matter if they were a pro or beginner. It is nice to be able to record your statistics, and then have an easy to read page of charts and summaries of your past experiences. In the game of poker, it’s important to capitalize on your mistakes, and see what you could do better. It is very difficult to remember every moment of your poker game, but with this site you can do it in less then 10 minutes. This website does that work for you, and gives you the advantage of setting up your own personal blog. This program is very different then all the other poker aids I have discussed before, but it is one that every poker player should at least try. In my opinion you can’t find a better deal, then a free, well made, poker blog that makes analyzing your game simple. I hope you give this site a chance, and if you have any questions please feel free to contact me. Enjoy and good luck!
